In the centre of heritage
We are situated at the edge of the hamlet of Pago de San Clemente in the gentle hills of the Sierra de los Lagares, just ten minutes from the beautiful historic town of Trujillo in the heart of Extremadura.
This is an ideal location for exploring the rich heritage, gastronomy, landscapes and nature that will delight visitors coming to Extremadura:
Heritage: We are within easy reach of the medieval towns of Cáceres and Plasencia , the Roman city of Mérida and the splendid basilica and monastery of Guadalupe.
Gastronomy
Extremadura is famous for its cured Iberian hams, cheeses, wines, as well as paprika, honey and other farm products. We are partners in the Route of the Iberian Ham product club.
Landscapes : We are centrally located between the Monfragüe National Park, the Villuercas Geo Park, the Sierras of Montanchez, as well as the extensive dehesas and plains, cut through by attractive river valleys. We can recommend rewarding touring and walking routes through these varied landscapes.
